I'm sorry, I have tried to watch this series three times now and its just SOOOOO bad. I mean i would literally cut off my own feet with a rusty pencil sharper than watch another episode. This may be because I have read the books but its just so bad. You finish an episode and you realize that it just the most trite and pathetic of entertainment. This show would be cruel and unusual punishment if shown in a prison.

This show is absolutely awesome. I watched all the episodes and I love them - dearly. Legend of the Seekers has its fans and you know what - we are still rooting for this show - hardcore fans

I actually like this show so far... shocker. Anyways, it passes each depressing hour that Merlin season three hasn't come out yet a little faster...

Third season of these series ain't coming. They just left it unfinished. If you do a bit of Googling, you'll see that they stopped filming it. That's all there is to it. Sorry...

The series is very terrifyingly bad if you've read the books, but if you haven't it's actually really good. So don't go saying about how terrible it is just to ruin is for the people that haven't read the books. It's kinds mean..... Though really people its the cheesiest thing ever. I was sooooo annoyed when she tells him in the first episode that she's the confessor, since she's supposed to only like, 3/4 into the book.

why do you tards keep mentioning merlin they are completely different shows and anyways this one is far superior to a scrawny brit who doesnt even come up with unique ways to use magic

I absolutely love this show, nit i pretty much enjoy anything rob tapert is involved in. And people really need to stop comparing it to the books. It's called creative direction for a reason. the series is not meant to be the books. The books aren't even that transferable to a series or a movie really. I think for what Tapert and his screen writers had to work with the series turned out amazing. It has a little bit of everything and if ABC was greedy for money Sci Fi would own it now and there'd be a 3rd 4th and 5th season. So if you're one of the book readers who has decided to be dosgusted with the series go shove it up your a**. This show if for people with open minds and creative imaginations, not for people who can't imagine something being different than the book.

@ above:

That was the best comment I've heard in while. I haven't even read the books and the show is alright, not the brightest but not that bad either.

Merlin is much better acting, photography, buildings, scenes, scenery and story line.

Merlin HAS better acting, scenery, photography, story line, writing i.e. This story is seems one dimensional and everyone seems out of breath. whatever.. I will go watch Eureka. which is again way better than this.

I've watched the show to the end and that made me to read the books. They are veeery different. Someone pretentious should go for the books, wich are quite ok (in my personal top they go right after Tolkien),but if you're looking for light bright entertainment, the show qualifies, is funny, has great sceneries, and is better made than many other fantasy series, in my opinion. And i happened to like the lead actors (all the four of them).

I must say, if you've read the books, you can't really enjoy this, just because you get confused with all the changes. In fact so much has been altered that comparing the Sword of Truth series to the Legend of the Seeker series, is like comparing a local corner shop to a big mall. Both offer similar products, but the variety or the amount of details, is totally different.
However, if you're are unfortunate enough not to have read the books yet, go and have a look :-)

Even if I hadn't read the books, this series would still be terrible. The fact that I have read the books make this show abolutely abysmal. They changed so much I don't even know why they even bothered buying the rights.
