In Kalabra, Richard starts his plan on capturing Rahl's right hand, Demmin Nass, despite the fact that he was warn by a sorceress who had a vision of his death, Shota.On the way, Kahlan reveals her feelings for Richard to Gryff and how they can never be together because of her Confessor's power.

I just wonder... How can General Nass get a letter in the same language as the Book of Counted Shadows, if the Seeker is the only one that can read it?? :P
