Connor, leader of the resistance, asks for help from Kahlan when two of his subordinates died of a very unusual way. While Zedd, on a different track, tries to find the key to a crypt to seal/hide the third Box of Orden from Rahl.They discover too late that Niles, who was hanged for the murder, was not responsible.
